Our Commitment to Animals
100 Animal Lovers To The Rescue actively supports non-profit animal rescues through dedicated quarterly contributions from our members. By pooling resources, we aim to provide substantial donations to selected organizations every three months.
Our goal is to gather 100 passionate members committed to donating a total of $10,000 each quarter. By highlighting the efforts of various rescues and sanctuaries, we bring attention to the importance of animal advocacy within our communities.

How It Works
Welcome to our giving group!
By joining with a donation of $100 per quarter (about $33 per month), you become part of a dedicated group of animal lovers making a difference in the lives of animals and the people who love and care for them. Each quarter we hold a meeting to determine where our pooled donation will be sent. The more members there are in the group, the greater the amount donated.
Together, we can create a significant positive impact for animals!
Animal Nonprofit Selection Process Each Quarter Meeting
The giving group will be selecting an animal nonprofit organization to receive the pooled group donation. Here’s a structured approach to facilitate the selection process:
1. Research Potential Nonprofits
Identify local and national animal nonprofits.
Consider organizations that focus on rescue, rehabilitation, and advocacy.
2. Create a Shortlist
Select 4 nonprofits through a raffle of members whom would like to present their chosen organization.
3. Present to the Group
Members who have been chosen by the raffle (and who would like to speak) pitch their reasons why they believe their organization should receive the donation.
4. Group Discussion
Discuss among group members any questions, thoughts and preferences.
5. Voting Process
Conduct a vote to select the nonprofit that will receive the donation.
6. Announce the Decision
Inform the selected nonprofit about the donation and the group's support.
Share the news with all group members and encourage further engagement with the nonprofit.

Canopy Cat Rescue of Washington
At our sixth meeting (our first at the Hydrant in West Seattle), on August 1st 2026, we awarded a $1,100 donation to Canopy Cat Rescue. Founded in 2009 after discovering how difficult it was for people to find help for their cats stuck high in trees. As cat people themselves, they knew how horrible it feels when a cat is missing, crying for help, high up in a tree. Cold, hungry, scared, tired, and dehydrated; many cats, unfortunately, suffer each year after being stuck in trees.
We love the work this rescue does and are thrilled to be able to support their work.
SR3 - Sealife Response, Rehabilitation & Research
On our fifth meeting, May 2nd 2026, we awarded a $1,100 donation to SR3. SR3 is a Pacific Northwest nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting marine wildlife. Their team responds to stranded and injured seals, sea lions, whales, and other marine animals while also conducting critical research to support the health of endangered species like Southern Resident killer whales. SR3 operates the region’s only hospital exclusively for marine wildlife, giving vulnerable animals a second chance at life in the wild while inspiring greater stewardship of our oceans and waterways.
The Bond Between
On our fourth meeting, Feb 7th 2026, we awarded a $1,100 donation to The Bond Between. The Bond Between was specifically chosen for its excellent work helping dogs and cats that have been effected by ICE in Minneapolis. It is a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to strengthening the connection between people and animals through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and community support services. Originally founded as Secondhand Hounds, the organization has helped more than 35,000 dogs and cats find safety, medical care, and loving homes. Beyond rescue work, The Bond Between also supports families through pet food assistance, foster care programs, and social service partnerships that help keep people and their pets together during difficult times. Their compassionate, relationship-centered approach creates lasting impact for both animals and the humans who love them.
Heartwood Haven
On our third meeting on November 15th 2025, we awarded a $1,000 donation to Heartwood Haven. This farm animal sanctuary in Roy WA works tirelessly to rescue and rehabilitate farm animals, most of them coming from cruelty cases. Many of these animals are adopted to loving homes, and some of them find a forever home at the sanctuary.
Old Dog Haven
At our second quarterly meeting on August 9th 2025, we awarded an $800 donation to Old Dog Haven. Old Dog Haven is a small nonprofit group using a large network of foster homes to provide loving, safe homes for unadoptable senior dogs in need in western Washington.
Friends of Roswell Animals
At our first meeting on May 10th 2025, we awarded our donation to Friends of Roswell Animals (FORA). This small rescue out of Roswell New Mexico is doing their best to keep up with a large number of strays in the area. Our donation will help them to save more animals in need.
